Ames family silly photo. Shane gave his friend Jared a call one day out of the blue. You know how well men stay in touch. Let me go back a little, Jared was Shane's best man at our wedding. We had seen him and his wife Amy about a year ago briefly in passing but since then it had been about 8 or 9 years. It is great now to live closer and reconnect with old friends. Jared and Amy were so sweet to BBQ for us and take us down to the river that touches thier property. It is so beautiful there and relaxing. Jared showed Alisha how to skip rocks, she also got to jump on thier trampoline and watch movies with thier kids, Jordan, Kyla, and Lauren. We had a lot of fun eating, talking and playing Boggle. Now it is our turn to have them over. Let's hope it is not another 8 years before we pick up the phone and call.
